Air India flight to New York grounded before departure due to hydraulic failure

A hydraulic failure in one of the engines caused an Air India flight to New York to be grounded before departure from the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The 300 passengers onboard have been accommodated in a nearby hotel. Their flight has been rescheduled for 5:00 p.m. A stranded passenger said engineers were sent for repairs but were unsuccessful. It was later fixed and will be used in the rescheduled flight, per The Economic Times.
