Apple to begin production of iPhones in India

Apple will start the assembly of a small number of the iPhone SE in Bangalore, India. Per CNNMoney, Apple will start selling the device in the country within the next two weeks and will be priced cheaper than imports. Apple has been trying to get a share of the Indian market as it is expected to overtake the U.S. as the world’s second-largest smartphone market of the year. Apple did not reveal if it would produce other iPhone models at the plant.
