There are good deals, like retailer or restaurant programs offering coupons in exchange of personal information, and even “buy 10, get one free” programs. However, there are times when loyalty isn’t worth it. These include car insurance which competes for customers saying that they will help you save more and even cable companies that increase their rates each year.
