    Malaysian budget airline receives 1st delivery of Boeing 737 MAX jet

    USA TODAY reported that low-cost Malaysian carrier, Malindo Air, received the first delivery of Boeing’s new 737 MAX jet. The official launch customer of the new jet is still Southwest, but they will receive their first model this summer while Norwegian Air will get their MAX jet by early June. The 737 MAX is the third overhaul to Boeing’s 737 line which was launched in 1967 and is mostly used for medium- and short-haul flights across the globe.
