    Nomura report says GVA, GDP numbers to be revised higher

    With the Central Statistical Office’s revision of India’s industrial production and wholesale price index series in the previous week, a Nomura report said that the GVA growth will be reworked from 7.8% to 8.2% for 2015-16 and from 6.7% to 7.4% for 2016-17. The report also stated that the 2016-17 GDP growth may be revamped from 7.1% in the second estimate to 7.8%. The revisions will affect the quarterly growth profile, per The Economic Times.
