The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) Has an Ambitious Investment Plan for 2025
Morocco’s National Motorway Company (ADM) announced a 4.1 billion dirham investment for 2025 to modernize its network, enhance road safety, and support a projected 5.5% traffic growth. Key projects include the Berrechid-Tit Mellil highway and Rabat-Casablanca link, along with digital toll innovations and maintenance investments, reflecting ADM’s commitment to improved mobility and infrastructure quality.
With an investment plan of 4.1 billion dirhams, the National Motorway Company of Morocco is banking on modernizing its network and strengthening road safety. Objective: to support a projected growth of 5.5% in traffic in 2025.
The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) is preparing to take a new step in its development with the announcement of a bold investment plan for the year 2025. During its board of directors meeting, held on December 23 under the chairmanship of Nizar Baraka, Minister of Equipment and Water, ADM unveiled the broad outlines of its strategy.
With an envelope of 4.1 billion dirhams, the company intends to modernize its network, strengthen road safety and meet the requirements of increasing mobility. Projections for 2025 predict a 5.5% increase in motorway traffic, reflecting the country’s economic vitality and users’ confidence in its infrastructure.
This growth should enable ADM to generate a turnover of 4.4 billion dirhams, a result which will support the investment efforts necessary to accompany this dynamic
Among the major projects announced, the completion of the Berrechid-Tit Mellil highway is at the top of the priorities. This strategic section aims to ease traffic congestion between Casablanca and its outskirts. The construction of the continental highway linking Rabat and Casablanca is also a key project.
This alternative to the current, often congested highway will help to ease traffic flow on one of the busiest roads in the country. In addition, ADM plans to redevelop key interchanges, particularly in Sidi Maârouf and Aïn Harrouda, in order to meet the growing mobility needs in these key areas. Furthermore, road safety is at the heart of the company’s priorities.
ADM is thus committed to strengthening its signaling and surveillance equipment, while continuing its efforts in the automation of motorway operations. The development of digital solutions, such as Jawaz electronic toll collection, will be intensified to offer modern and practical services to users.
At the same time, ADM intends to preserve its infrastructure assets by devoting 600 million dirhams to maintaining the existing network. This program is essential to ensure optimal traffic conditions and extend the lifespan of the infrastructure, while meeting user expectations in terms of quality and safety.
