AIQBE Incorporates Fertinagro Biotech as a New Associated Company
Fertinagro Biotech, a leader in sustainable fertilizers, has joined the Huelva Association of Chemical, Basic, and Energy Industries (AIQBE), bringing the Association’s total membership to 21 companies. AIQBE President José Luis Menéndez praised Fertinagro’s innovation and industrial capacity. Fertinagro’s inclusion offers strategic advantages like market insights, collaboration opportunities.
The Huelva Association of Chemical, Basic and Energy Industries (AIQBE ) has incorporated Fertinagro Biotech, a leading reference in the technological and sustainable fertilizer sector in Spain, as a new associated company. With this new membership, the AIQBE has a total of 21 companies.
AIQBE President José Luis Menéndez has expressed his satisfaction at the incorporation of this leading company in the sector into the Huelva Association, “an example of innovation, industrial capacity and sustainable agriculture.”

With almost 40 years of experience and presence in more than 80 countries, Fertinagro Biotech is the largest Spanish manufacturer of agricultural amino acids and has 28 industrial plants, including the largest microbial biostimulant plant in Europe.
Its director in Huelva, Alberto Ramos, has indicated that “being part of AIQBE is a strategic decision, as it offers multiple benefits that can boost growth and competitiveness. It provides us with access to privileged information on market trends, technological innovations and regulatory changes, which will allow us to anticipate and adapt more effectively to changing environmental conditions. Fertinagro Biotech is comitted to R&D&I
Dedicated to the production and marketing of products and services for plant nutrition and animal feed, as well as fertilizers for gardening, and the logistics and distribution of industrial and environmental solutions, Fertinagro Biotech serves more than 100,000 customers and has an average turnover of 700 million euros per year.
Its commitment to research and development of new products, which translates into an annual investment of five million euros in R&D&I, has resulted in 161 national and international technological patents and 16 research projects currently underway.
