Baladin project: creating a circular water cycle

The objective, through the Baladin Green Project, is to make the brewery autonomous in obtaining water through the construction of a well, adjacent to the Piozzo plant, which allows the water resource to be used for beer production and cleaning. of the systems.

This project will allow the creation of a ” circular water cycle ” which will guarantee security in production continuity even in the event of a water crisis and reduce the impact of water consumption on the territory. The well will allow water to be drawn 300 meters deep from an unused underground reserve. The waste water will be biologically purified and reused to irrigate the fields around the brewery.

Launch of Open Hub, the first shared brewery

The brewery acquired in 2022 in Bernareggio, Lombardy, will be the headquarters of Open Hub, the first shared brewery in Italy, with production managed by the Baladin team which will ensure high quality standards, product availability and a dedicated, highly qualified sales network.

The Open Hub project, starting in the second half of 2024, will involve 5 Italian craft breweries (Ritual Lab in Lazio, Opperbacco in Abruzzo, Fabbrica Birra Perugia in Umbria, MC77 in the Marche and Birrificio dell’Altavia in Liguria) creating 6 beers to offer , exclusively in kegs , to the commercial network of wholesalers operating in the Horeca market, thus responding to the high demand of the keg beer market which today is not fully exploited by craft beer producers.

In 2028 the objective will be the production of 50 thousand hectoliters/year which will be added to those produced in the Piozzo plant. Overall, by 2028 the brewery aims to achieve revenues of 50 million euros, with a CAGR of approximately 22%, an EBITDA of 25% and a production of 100,000 hectoliters/year between the 2 production sites of Piozzo and Bernareggio

Baladin crowdfunding

The equity crowdfunding project will allow Baladin to maintain its independence and confirm its vocation as a craft beer producer. “We chose to open the company’s capital – explains Teo Musso, founder and CEO of the Baladin Agricultural Brewery – to grow together with our community and share the path we imagined. “

“The involvement of those who we like to define as the Baladinians, who together with us share the identity values and philosophy of the brewery, represents, in fact, one of the pillars of the company. We are not just looking for members, but real ambassadors ready to design the Baladin Brewery of tomorrow together with us.”
