Austria’s digital investment landscape is experiencing significant progress with the expansion of the partnership between Bitpanda Technology Solutions and the Raiffeisen Banking Group.

The collaboration with Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien originally began in January of this year and was very well received by Viennese customers. This innovative cooperation is now being expanded to 55 additional Raiffeisen banks in Lower Austria and Burgenland.

Thanks to the expanded partnership, customers in these regions can now also invest in cryptocurrencies and other digital assets via the mobile banking app “Mein ELBA”. The app offers access to over 2,000 digital assets, including Bitcoin and other popular cryptocurrencies.

Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad , CEO of Bitpanda Technology Solutions, emphasizes the successes of the cooperation so far and the importance of the expanded partnership: “Since the launch in January, we have experienced increasing customer demand. This expansion will enable even more Austrian citizens to enter the world of digital assets safely and easily.”

Bitpanda’s offering in the “My ELBA” app is characterized by user-friendliness and the ability to invest from one euro, which enables a wide range of users to get started in asset management. It is aimed at new investors and experienced traders and offers a modern, tailor-made trading solution.

Rudolf Suttner, CEO of RLB Burgenland, sees the integration of Bitpanda as an important milestone:

“We are one of the first traditional banks in Europe to enable our customers to invest independently and innovatively in digital assets. Our vision of a customer-centered service will be further strengthened through this cooperation.”

Bitpanda has a wide range of licenses and registrations, including a MiFiD II investment firm license and an electronic money license under PSD II, making the platform one of the safest and most regulated trading platforms in Europe. With more than four million users, Bitpanda has established itself as the leading digital assets platform in the EU.

About Bitpanda Technology Solutions : Bitpanda offers one of the most scalable Investing-as-a-Service infrastructures in Europe and worldwide. The platform enables FinTechs, traditional banks and online platforms to offer regulated trading, investment and trust services across a wide range of assets.
