Time is gradually getting tight – and every bit of support counts: Only 28 days remain to make the crowdfunding project “Make volunteers strong – donate to the BRK Cham!” on the “Many achieve more” portal of VR-Bank Ostbayern-Mitte eG a success.

Of the €11,200 required, €1,618 has been raised so far. If the goal is not reached within the timeframe, the project will be considered a failure, and all donations made so far will be returned.

With this project, the BRK Cham district association aims to provide its volunteer emergency workers with the same modern equipment as its full-time employees.

BRK Cham plans to purchase of pads and ventilator

Specifically, this involves the purchase of a pad and a ventilator for an ambulance in order to optimize communication with hospitals and ensure the best possible care in an emergency.

We want to provide our volunteers, who make an invaluable contribution to the safety of the people in the district, with the same modern equipment as our full-time emergency service employees.

BRK Disaster Management Director Tobias Muhr said: “We want to provide our volunteers, who make an invaluable contribution to the safety of the people in the district, with the same modern equipment as our full-time emergency service employees. Because while health insurance companies cover most of the costs here, we primarily finance our volunteer work ourselves,” explained BRK Disaster Management Director Tobias Muhr.

Every additional device can save lives

With support and rapid response teams at seven locations, volunteers cover critical peaks in deployments – and every piece of equipment they receive can save lives.

Why every donation counts: Anyone can unexpectedly find themselves in an emergency. Those who support this project are actively contributing to the safety of everyone in the region – and, in an emergency, to the protection of relatives, friends, and neighbors.

So far, 54 supporters have supported the project. To reach the goal, every bit of help counts: donate, share, spread the word! says Muhr. VR-Bank Ostbayern-Mitte eG is also supporting the project: For every €5 or more in funding, the bank will add a one-time €5 per supporter – an additional incentive to help now.
