Canopy Growth Shares Climb 8.3% Amid Volatility and Weak Financial Results
Canopy Growth shares rose 8.3% to CAD 1.82 but remain far below their 52-week high. The company reported weak financials, including a CAD -1.43 loss per share and declining revenue. Despite exceeding some forecasts, overall performance disappointed. U.S. trading showed volatility, with a 19.81% drop. Next earnings are expected on August 8, 2025.

Canopy Growth shares rose 8.3% to CAD 1.82 during Wednesday’s TSX session, briefly peaking at CAD 1.84 after opening at CAD 1.69. By 4:28 p.m., trading volume reached 1,134,126 shares.
Despite this uptick, the stock remains far from its 52-week high of CAD 11.89, reached on July 24, 2024. To return to that peak, shares would need to gain 553.30%. In U.S. trading, Canopy Growth shares saw significant volatility. On the NASDAQ, shares temporarily dropped 19.81% to USD 1.38, reflecting market uncertainty despite the positive movement in the Canadian market.
