Meeting Point for the European Cannabis Industry: CB EXPO Returns to Dortmund
CB EXPO returns to Dortmund September 18–20, running alongside InterTabac and InterSupply. The event highlights Europe’s cannabis industry, with exhibitors from seeds to CBD and packaging. The CB Conference will feature expert talks, workshops, and debates on legalization, grower associations, hemp, and medical cannabis. Networking culminates with the CB Reception. Tickets available online.

The Cannabis Business Expo and Conference (CB EXPO) will once again take place in Dortmund from September 18th to 20th. As one of the most important trade fairs for the European cannabis sector, the event provides a comprehensive platform for the industry, spanning everything from cultivation to finished consumer products.
This marks the third time CB EXPO is being hosted in Dortmund, running in parallel with InterTabac, the world’s leading tobacco trade fair.
The mission of CB EXPO is to help build a sustainable cannabis industry in Europe for future generations
The exhibition gives both established companies and innovative newcomers an opportunity to present their brands, products, and services to a highly experienced audience. Its connection with InterTabac and its sister event, InterSupply, adds another dimension. Since tickets grant access to all three fairs, exhibitors and visitors alike benefit from fresh synergies and the chance to engage with new target groups beyond the traditional cannabis sector.
Hall 9 in Dortmund will feature a wide variety of exhibitors. Among them are Spanish seed specialists Snorkel Spain (Royal Queen Seeds) and Anesia Seeds (Ruperts Farm). From the United States, Emerald Green Technology will showcase its CBD products. ESA-Test GmbH from Eisenach will be in attendance, along with Folar Tech Limited, which offers vaporizers, and Shenzhen Winstar Packaging Co. Ltd. from China, known for its child-resistant packaging solutions.
The accompanying CB Conference is an equally integral part of the program. Beyond product presentations, it delivers in-depth knowledge to trade visitors. Renowned speakers will cover pressing topics in the cannabis industry while hosting masterclasses. A major point of discussion will be the development of grower associations, particularly after more than a year of partial legalization in Germany. Under the new federal government, model projects and cultivation associations are taking shape, and this year a dedicated theme with workshops and “Ask the Expert” sessions will provide further insights.
The CB Conference will also address broader perspectives, including opportunities and challenges facing the European cannabis sector, the potential of hemp as a raw material, and trends in medical cannabis. The ongoing debate on recreational cannabis legalization in Germany and across other European nations will be another highlight of the agenda.
The CB EXPO trade fair’s program will conclude with the CB Reception on Thursday evening, beginning at 7 p.m. Designed to encourage professional exchange, this networking event allows participants to connect with industry peers in a relaxed atmosphere.
Tickets for CB EXPO can be purchased directly via the online shop.
