The Enzian shooting club in Frankenreuth has successfully completed its crowdfunding project Youth Development in Shooting Sports, allowing the organization to expand its youth program and create new training opportunities for children and adolescents. Through numerous donations, during the crowdfunding campaign, from residents and regional supporters, the club secured funding to purchase two modern RedDot DISAG laser rifles with the necessary accessories, enabling a safe and contemporary introduction to the sport without the use of ammunition.

The equipment is designed to give young participants their first practical experiences in a controlled environment, emphasizing safety, accessibility, and enjoyment. The project focuses on gently guiding schoolchildren and teenagers into shooting sports while supporting their personal development. Beyond athletic skills, the program promotes teamwork, responsibility, fairness, and mutual respect, while offering an appealing leisure activity that strengthens friendships and community ties among peers.

Community crowdfunding enables modern, safe training for young people

Another important objective is the preservation of regional traditions and the reinforcement of social cohesion. By providing structured activities and shared experiences, the club contributes to integration, confidence building, and the overall development of young people in the region.

The board expressed sincere gratitude to all supporters who made the crowdfunding project possible. Special thanks were directed to project managers Michaela Schmidt and Anja Hemminger from Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Nordoberpfalz, as well as branch manager Gerhard Uschold, for their professional guidance throughout the crowdfunding campaign.

The crowdfunding initiative raised a total of 3,900 euros, including a contribution of 1,950 euros from the bank, ensuring the successful realization of the youth-focused project.

The outcome of the crowdfunding campaign reflects strong community commitment and highlights how collaborative support can directly benefit young participants. The new equipment allows structured practice sessions, gradual learning, and inclusive participation for beginners. By combining safe technology with mentorship and organized activities, the club ensures that young members can explore the sport confidently while building friendships and a lasting sense of belonging within their community.
