CrowdFundMe Grows and Registers Positive EBITDA, Thanks to Real Estate Crowdfunding

CrowdFundMe achieved positive EBITDA of €57,000 in the first half of 2024, compared to a loss of €77,000 in 2023, driven by its real estate lending crowdfunding subsidiary, Trusters. Consolidated revenues grew by 35% to €971,000, with total collections reaching €18 million. Despite equity crowdfunding challenges, real estate sector performance strengthened overall group margins.

CrowdFundMe recently approved its first half 2024 results, marking an important milestone for the crowdinvesting platform, the only one listed on Borsa Italiana.

Among the main successes, the transition of consolidated EBITDA into positive territory stands out, exceeding 57,000 euros, compared to -77,000 euros in the same period of 2023.

CrowdFundMe synergy with Trusters

This improvement was possible thanks to the performance of the real estate lending crowdfunding sector, managed by the subsidiary Trusters.

The synergy with Trusters, in its second year of full operation, continues to yield concrete results, with profits of 85,811 euros in the first six months of 2024, consolidating the group’s margins and demonstrating the validity of the acquisition strategy.

Although the equity crowdfunding market is going through a period of contraction, mainly due to the complex macroeconomic context, the real estate crowdfunding sector has proven to be fundamental in supporting the group’s overall result.

Consolidated Revenue Growth and Total Collection

In the first half of 2024, CrowdFundMe generated consolidated revenues of over 971,000 euros, compared to 717,000 euros in the same period of the previous year.

This increase was driven by the growth in overall collections, which reached approximately 18 million euros, compared to the previous 15.7 million.

Net Result and Net Financial Position

The group’s net result stood at -196 thousand euros, influenced by the amortization of the consolidation goodwill related to the acquisition of Trusters. The Net Financial Position was equal to 139,000 euros, compared to 213,000 euros in 2023.

Tommaso Baldissera Pacchetti, CEO of CrowdFundMe, commented: “ CrowdFundMe continues in a significantly positive direction. The first half of 2024 confirms this trend, with a growth in overall revenues of 35% compared to the same period of 2023 and a positive EBITDA, significantly higher than the previous result.”

“Real estate lending crowdfunding – added Baldissera – confirms itself as a steadily positive sector, with driving effects on the entire group despite the contraction of the equity sector. Therefore, we will further strengthen the integration and synergies of the group.”
