Transforming electric car charging into an experience as simple as filling up with gas, but also convenient and enjoyable. With this goal, Electra, a company specializing in ultra-fast charging of electric vehicles, presented its new Electralines at the Paris Motor Show. These stations are connected and communicate in real time to users the availability of columns, the price and the progress of the charge, with an elegant design and made with eco-friendly materials, equipped with entertainment systems to fill the 20 minutes of average charging time in an entertaining way.

Created in 2021 in France, today Electra is present in 9 countries with over 350 “supercharger hubs”, fast and ultra-fast electric charging stations capable of guaranteeing a full refueling in about 20 minutes, and aims to reach 2,200 by 2030. In Italy Electra is present with 13 stations and has recently installed a charging network along the A4 route connecting Trieste to Turin. From 2025 the new Electralines will be progressively installed in Electra sites throughout Europe.

Electra has designed stations that allow you to charge your vehicle without worries

The facilities include rest areas and shaded areas, ideal for enjoying sunny days. The elegant shapes of the station create a welcoming and dynamic environment, while the use of materials such as wood creates a warm and eco-friendly space.

The LED screen on the structure and the totem screen are much more than just visual elements: they are real tools of communication and interaction, which capture attention and provide essential information, while entertaining at the same time.

Two totems complete the station, with rest areas for users. A large totem serves to make the station visible from afar, displaying prices clearly for everyone; while a smaller one is positioned near the station to provide users and passers-by with details on nearby services, Electra communications, partner promotions, prices and more.

“The limited capillarity of the charging infrastructure on the territory and the consequent difficulties in moving and refueling are among the main factors that slow down the spread of electric cars and the transition towards sustainable mobility” said Eugenio Sapora , General Manager of Electra in Italy.

“Bringing the charging experience closer to that of the petrol station, with a simple and rapid charge, is essential to encourage users to choose electric. Electra was born with this objective and today, with the presentation of the Electraline, it takes a step that goes even further: offering drivers stations that combine the best of technology and design, where they can spend the time charging comfortably and pleasantly.”
