Finaktiva, a Colombian fintech company that has positioned itself as the ally for the growth of companies, closed 2023 with an annual variation of 61% in its income and a 34% increase in the number of disbursements, which reached $169 billion.

Pablo Santos, co-founder and CEO of Finaktiva, attributes the performance to key products such as factoring and the Finaktiva as a Service (FaaS) platform, in addition to the integration of all its solutions (lending, SCF and cash management), a step strategic that consolidated them as a financial one stop shop for companies in Latin America.

Finaktiva said that the placement exceeds $5.4 billion in more than 150,000 operations

“Although it was a very challenging year economically for people and companies in many countries on different continents, we are true believers that companies drive the country’s economy. We will continue in this sense with our commitment to support entrepreneurs and SMEs in Colombia, since this is the way to grow economically, create stability in the market and generate wealth,” Santos emphasized.

Finaktiva also obtained recertification as a B Company, reaffirming its commitment to generating a positive impact on society. Additionally, together with CESA, they launched the “Advisory Committee” program for female entrepreneurs, designed to support them in the strategic and sustainable growth of their companies. These committees are made up of women leaders from Colombia who participate in the Cesa Women’s Leadership on Boards of Directors program and team leaders of this Colombian fintech company.

Santos was appointed president of the board of Andi Del Futuro and member of the board of Ruta N. These roles provide him with opportunities to understand the entrepreneurial ecosystem from the roots and develop strategies that promote the different sectors of the economy.

“From this history that we have been building in the country, we hope to obtain 2X growth and the internationalization of our technological and financial products. Therefore, we will continue to promote factoring, as an alternative to improve liquidity and we will continue to leverage the growth of Colombian companies,” said the manager.

In addition to this, Finaktiva will seek to consolidate itself as the strategic ally in managing the cash flow of SMEs through its new digital tool in which it will offer financing, centralization services payments, tools for correct financial management, among many other services.

Likewise, the company plans to promote its international products, thus achieving the first MVP portfolios in dollars focused on exporters along with the implementation of FaaS platform solutions in the Latin American market.
