Mamacrowd, among Italy’s largest equity crowdfunding platforms, has reached the highest funding target to date in its history. Innovative-RFK’s campaign, which is still ongoing, has in fact exceeded $4.6 million (€4.5 million), thanks also to investments totaling $3.06 million (€3 million) from the AZIMUT ELTIF – Venture Capital ALIcrowd II fund. The campaign, which was launched only at the end of May, is thus on its way to reaching the maximum fundraising goal of $5.1 million (€5 million).

The holding company had already successfully concluded two equity crowdfunding rounds: in 2019 on Crowdfundme with a collection of $2.55 million (€2.5 million) and in 2021 on Opstart with a collection of $693,000 (€680,000), aimed at listing on Euronext.

Dario Giudici, Ceo of Mamacrowd explained, “We are proud of this milestone achieved, especially because it comes after difficult years for everyone characterized by the pandemic. This campaign is the result of synergistic work between Mamacrowd, Azimut, and the community of investors – institutional and non-institutional – that we have built over the last few years and who have recognized in the i-RFK project a winning business model and a prepared team. But it also represents an example of how the equity crowdfunding tool is increasingly crucial in raising capital for the country’s SMEs and startups.”

Antonello Carlucci, CEO of Innovative-RFK, commented, “We are very pleased with how the campaign is going and we thank Mamacrowd for giving us access, not only to the community of investors but also to the AZIMUT ELTIF – Venture Capital ALIcrowd II fund. With the realized raise we will further strengthen our investments in the growth-capital phase to support the growth and innovation of Italian SMEs, through internationalization paths, inorganic growth, and eventually IPOs.”

Guido Bocchio, Head of Venture Capital Azimut Libera Impresa SGR, commented, “A very ambitious goal has been achieved. The investments, so important both in number and amount, made through the Mamacrowd platform, are further confirmation of the trust placed through ALIcrowd II in the project and the team.”
