Itago Acquires Scae and Enviro through Eco-Techno

Itago IV, a fund managed by Itago Sg , through its subsidiary Eco-Techno, has acquired Scae , a company specialized in the design and marketing of machines and systems for the treatment of water and sludge, and Enviro Solutions, a Spanish company leader in the development of solutions for the treatment of water and air in the industrial sector.

Eco-Techno strengthens its positioning in the liquid waste sector

This double acquisition marks a significant step forward for Eco-Techno in its industrial project, strengthening its positioning in the industrial liquid waste treatment sector and consolidating its presence in both the national and international markets with innovative solutions for water and air treatment .

Scae, based in Dueville (Vicenza), is a company specialized in the production of machines for sludge treatment and for the supply of chemical products functional to water treatment. Founded with the aim of offering efficient and sustainable solutions for water recovery, Scae has developed a wide range of advanced technologies for the food & beverage, waste management, chemical-pharmaceutical, wine and civil systems sectors.

The company has twenty years of experience in the water treatment sector, exceeding a turnover of 7 million euros in 2023. Pierpaolo Pozzato will remain at the helm of the company, with the role of CEO.

Enviro solutions, Eco-Techno’s historic partner, is a pillar in the water and air treatment sector, with innovative solutions that promote reuse through Zero liquid discharge technologies . Thanks to its predominant position in the Spanish, French and South American markets, the acquisition of Enviro solutions further consolidates the group’s global presence.

Eco-Techno, some numbers

Thus strengthening the strategic partnership between the two companies, serving customers with a turnkey technical service for various applications (industrial, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, metalworking, waste management, etc.). The company, with many years of experience and a turnover of over 6 million euros , has outlined an ambitious growth project driven by some special projects in development that will lead the company to be a point of reference for some specific applications.

Following the two integrations, the Eco-techno group generates a turnover of over 25 million euros and has more than 50 employees, strengthening the group’s positioning as a leader in the water treatment sector.

Itago Sgr was founded by Domenico Tonussi, Nicola Bordignon, Piergiorgio Fantin and Daniele Mondi and has offices in Venice and Milan. The Itago team is currently the advisor of Neip III Sicaf which still has Spraytech and Panificio San Francesco in its portfolio.

The Itago IV fund managed by Itago Sgr, in addition to Eco-techno, has completed six other investments ( Vernici Caldart, Idrostudi, Apice, Operamed, Teknoice and SR-Mecatronic ).
