These are patients who need bone marrow transplants or who could be readmitted for heart failure. This real-time prediction capability has significantly improved clinical decision-making. Additionally, in collaboration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, the hospital has launched an applied AI training program for healthcare professionals, fostering more advanced leadership in the adoption of these technologies.

One of the KFSHRC’s greatest achievements has been in the area of radiology. Here, AI tools have increased diagnostic accuracy by 25% and reduced misdiagnosis rates by 18%. This has been key in the early detection of cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

The Capacity Command Centre, also powered by AI, has proven essential in automating tasks and optimising resource allocation. It has enabled more efficient care. Since 2021, more than 170,000 interventions have been carried out, reducing the waiting time for beds from 32 hours to just 6 hours. In addition, 90% of pharmacy and laboratory services are now completed in less than 15 minutes.

The hospital continues to expand its technological capabilities with JuhAIna, a generative AI system designed to facilitate decisions regarding organ transplants. This advancement will be showcased at the upcoming Global Health Expo in Riyadh, highlighting the hospital’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge technologies.
