How Pychon Reaches 70% of Its Crowdfunding Goal in 24 Hours
Emerging brand Pychon achieved 70% of its crowdfunding goal within 24 hours on Kickstarter, featuring premium indoor shoes combining style, comfort, and sustainability. Founder Javier López led a meticulous development process involving 90 factories. Manufactured in Spain, Pychon supports local artisans and donates to children’s cancer charity. The campaign runs until January 27.
Emerging apparel and footwear brand Pychon has made a highly successful debut on the market, reaching 70% of its crowdfunding goal in just 24 hours since its launch. This campaign, which seeks to fund its first line of premium indoor shoes, has been featured in Kickstarter’s “Our Favorites” section thanks to the rapid response from its backers.
Pychon presents itself as a brand designed specifically for millennials, focusing on three key characteristics: attractive design, superior comfort and a firm commitment to sustainability. Its value proposition lies in offering indoor shoes that combine style and environmental responsibility, a synthesis that is rare in today’s market.
Pychon launched crowdfunding round on Kickstarter for its sustainable sneakers
The sneakers are made from sustainable materials that seek to minimise environmental impact, positioning themselves as a conscious alternative in a sector that is increasingly demanding more. In addition, their design has been developed with a strong focus on comfort, meeting the needs of those looking for comfortable indoor footwear without sacrificing style.
Pychon founder Javier López, director of EcosistemaEcommerce.com, has brought his extensive experience in licensing and product development in the ecommerce sector to make this project a reality. From the acquisition of the Pychon.com domain to the investment of more than 1,000 hours in the development of the prototype, López has led an exhaustive process that included collaboration with 90 factories and 10 designers.
The brand registered its name two years ago and, after multiple adjustments and tests, presented three prototypes of shoes that have been well received by the public. These shoes are of national design and will be manufactured in Elche, Valencian Community, with the aim of supporting the local industry and preserving the artisanal production of master shoemakers with a long history in the region. “Our factory meets all these requirements and by having its location nearby, we reduce transport distances and the footprint we leave in production,” the company says.
Pychon’s crowdfunding campaign, which began on December 18th and will be active on Kickstarter until January 27th, allows those interested to purchase the shoes at a special price in advance. The initial financial goal was set at €5,100 and 70% of the total was covered on the first day alone, reaching €5,717 raised so far.
In addition, for every pair of shoes sold, the company will donate one euro to the Aladina Foundation over the next four years, thus contributing to helping and caring for children with cancer.
