Spannabis 2025: A Triumphant Farewell and Bold New Beginning
Spannabis 2025 marked a powerful farewell to Barcelona, breaking records with 500+ exhibitors and 25,000+ visitors. Celebrated for its unity, innovation, and €8M regional boost, it transcended trade to become a global movement. Amid regulatory shifts, it led vital cannabis dialogue. As Cornellà closes its chapter, Bilbao 2026 promises bold beginnings and new frontiers.

With the 2025 edition, Spannabis is writing a new chapter – and also its final chapter in its beloved home of Barcelona.
It was a farewell with a bang: Never before has Europe’s largest cannabis trade fair been as large, as diverse, and as influential as this year. As the expo grounds in Cornellà were bursting at the seams, one thing became clear: Spannabis is not just a trade fair, it is a movement – and a vibrant centerpiece of the international cannabis community.
Spannabis 2025: Records, emotions and a final event in Barcelona
Three days full of inspiration, exchange and unbridled energy – Spannabis 2025 exceeded all previous dimensions:
Over 500 exhibitors from seed banks, grow shops, CBD, hemp, laboratories and more
More than 5,000 accredited trade visitors
Around 2,400 employees , 300 of whom work directly at Spannabis
And over 25,000 visitors from 50 countries
The economic impact? An impressive €8 million flowed into the region in just one weekend. But the numbers only tell part of the story. It was the atmosphere, the togetherness, the feeling of a close-knit community that made this edition unforgettable.
Spannabis as a platform for change and knowledge
In times of regulatory upheaval – such as the new cannabis law in Germany or the heated political debate in Spain – Spannabis once again became the voice of the industry. Topics discussed included the medical potential of cannabis and hemp as a sustainable building material . The trade fair thus positions itself not only as a marketplace, but also as a pioneer for education, sustainability, and social responsibility
A farewell with melancholy – and a spirit of optimism
2025 marks the end of an era: Cornellà de Llobregat, the city that has been both home and stage for Spannabis for two decades, bids farewell to this extraordinary event.
Speaker Raúl del Pino paid moving tribute to the place and its people:”Cornellà has given us everything. It was our home, the place where we became the main European cannabis trade fair. We are grateful—and excited for what’s to come.”Cornellà was more than just an event venue—it was a breeding ground for community, creativity, and vision. And for that, we say a heartfelt thank you!
Bilbao 2026: The future begins now
The journey continues – Bilbao is calling! On April 17, 18, and 19, 2026, Spannabis will open its doors for the first time at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre . A strategic location in an emerging region – perfect for exploring new horizons. The relocation is not just a change of location, but a symbol of change, growth, and the courage to break new ground.
