Overfunding for the equity crowdfunding campaign launched on Mamacrowd by Vipresent, the startup that allows you to receive personalized video messages from your idols, founded by Dario Perdichizzi and Andrea Curci in 2020.

“We founded Vipresent in 2020. The aim was to allow fans to purchase a personalized video message recorded by a famous person or even participate in a live video call. We started with only 7 VIPs on board, but we were right,” said Dario Perdichizzi, CEO of Vipresent, entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience gained in startup launches and structured companies.

How Vipresent works

Operation of Vipresent is simple and intuitive. Simply connect to the site and select a character from those on the homepage or choose from the proposed categories. Once you have chosen the character, you can purchase a personalized video message by entering the instructions to give to the VIP or book a video call.

The message is recorded by you and made available to download directly from the platform, through a dedicated personal area. An original way to wish a happy birthday or make any other occasion unforgettable. Among the VIPs present on the platform are Valeria Marini, Manuela Arcuri, Mario Giuliacci, but also Costantino Vitaliano, Antonio Razzi, Giorgio Mastrota, Totò Schillaci as well as many influencers and social media stars.

The numbers of Vipresent

At the moment, Vipresent boasts a network of celebrities, managers and agencies in the sector, exceeding 450 registered talents. “We have active partnerships with 3 agencies and 12 managers who manage artists. We have introduced a range of extra services that contribute to increasing margins (60% of orders include at least one extra service). Furthermore, a new line of B2B business, which also allows small and medium-sized businesses to access the advertising services offered by celebrities,” explained Perdichizzi.

In April 2022, the startup concluded the first seed round which allowed it to increase investments and conclude 2022 with a +359% turnover compared to 2021. In 2023 the effort was concentrated on renewing and improving the platform, in order to to ensure its scalability, aiming commercially to consolidate the 2022 results.

Vipresent’s crowdfunding campaign on Mamacrowd

In 2024, the startup started an equity crowdfunding collection on Mamacrowd to grow exponentially and transform itself into a player with an international scope. In just 48 hours it exceeded the minimum collection target of 80 thousand euros, demonstrating the public’s interest in the platform.

At the moment, the public increasingly demands personalized and tailor-made content, and this is why social media and platforms capable of creating an exclusive relationship between performers and fans have literally exploded.

“We are honored by this result”, commented Dario Perdichizzi. “In 2023, the Italian Entertainment & Media market was worth 37.7 billion euros. In 2027, the forecast is 42.1 billion euros. Our goal for 2028 is to have more than 5,000 VIPs registered on the platform and deliver more of 100,000 personalized video messages”
