Worldcoin’s World Wallet Eyes Visa Integration for Global Crypto Payments
Worldcoin’s World Wallet may soon integrate Visa, enabling stablecoin payments at global merchants. Tools for Humanity aims to offer banking-like features, including fiat on/off-ramps and FX services. Talks with Rain and Co. further strengthen the vision of a connected crypto ecosystem. Despite biometric concerns, Visa’s support could drive mass adoption of crypto payments.

The crypto ecosystem around Worldcoin and World Network, co-founded by Sam Altman, may be taking a major step toward mass adoption.
According to an insider, Tools for Humanity, the company behind World Network, is planning to integrate Visa card functionality into World Wallet, transforming it into a kind of “mini bank account for everyone.”
World Wallet to be linked to Visa
The talks with Visa aim to not only enable World Wallet to accept stablecoin payments at thousands of merchants worldwide, but also to integrate traditional features such as on- and off-ramps for fiat currencies, foreign exchange (FX), and direct card connections.
That would make World Wallet a comprehensive financial solution that combines traditional and decentralized financial services.
Stablecoin payments for everyday life with World Wallet
The focus is primarily on stablecoins – cryptocurrencies pegged to the US dollar or other fiat currencies.
Thanks to the Visa integration, World Wallet will soon allow users to pay directly with stablecoins in supermarkets, online shops, or at gas stations – without having to go through banks or exchanges.
Strategic partnerships with Rain and Co.
According to information available, Tools for Humanity has also been in talks with Rain, a Coinbase and Circle-backed company that already offers Visa cards for projects like Optimism and Avalanche. The goal is to create a fully connected wallet ecosystem that combines payments, trading, wallet top-ups, and card spending in one app.
“Other wallet providers should be worried”
An insider emphasizes: “With Sam Altman’s resources and reach, existing wallet providers should brace themselves.” World Network has already achieved initial successes, such as World Chat, which enables crypto payments between users. The next logical step is a global, easy-to-use wallet – equipped with real financial functions.
Biometrics remains controversial
While the technical vision is impressive, the use of the Worldcoin Orb, which scans biometric iris data, remains controversial. Nevertheless, Altman seems determined to bridge the gap between crypto and everyday use—and with Visa as a partner, this plan could become a reality.
Conclusion
If the cooperation with Visa comes to fruition, the World Wallet could become one of the most important tools in everyday crypto life – with the potential to provide billions of people with easy access to digital financial services.
