AMDL Unveils 660 Million Dirham Investment Plan to Strengthen Morocco’s Logistics Infrastructure in 2026
Morocco’s Logistics Development Agency plans a 660-million-dirham investment for 2026 to boost logistics infrastructure. Approved in Rabat, the plan builds on accelerated projects in 2025, including new logistics zones near Agadir, Casablanca, and Zenata, support for SMEs, and initiatives strengthening competitiveness, regional balance, private investment, and sustainable supply chains, aligned with national strategy and oversight.
The Moroccan Agency for the Development of Logistics (AMDL) plans an investment budget of approximately 660 million dirhams for the year 2026, thus consolidating the momentum of development of logistics infrastructure.
This is an action plan of the AMDL adopted by its Board of Directors, held Wednesday in Rabat, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Abdessamad Kayouh.
Speaking at the event, the minister indicated that this meeting is taking place in a national and international context marked by the acceleration of economic changes, highlighting the logistical challenges and opportunities they generate.

Kayouh also highlighted the Royal High Solicitude towards the logistics sector, as a strategic lever for strengthening the competitiveness of the national economy and an essential pillar of sustainable and balanced development across the different regions of the Kingdom.
As part of the continued implementation of the National Strategy for the Development of Logistics Competitiveness, AMDL deployed several actions in 2025 aimed at strengthening the logistics infrastructure necessary for the development of the sector.
In this respect, last year was marked by a significant acceleration in the pace of project implementation by AMDL.
Indeed, the marketing of developed plots in the Laqliaâ logistics zone project south of Agadir has been largely initiated to stimulate private investment in logistics real estate within this zone.
Furthermore, the development work on the Oulad Saleh-Nouaceur logistics zone south of Casablanca has been launched on 70 ha, in parallel with the completion of the steps triggering the start of work on the integrated logistics and industrial platform of Zenata.
These two projects, forming the ends of the Zenata-Nouaceur logistics axis, will contribute to reducing the deficit in logistics land, to the organization and structuring of the distribution flows of goods in the Casablanca-Settat region.
Steps and partnerships have also been taken to accelerate the development of new logistics zones, particularly in the southern provinces of the Kingdom, notably in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region.
In another area, the AMDL has worked to integrate the logistics sector into the section of the Investment Charter dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises.
The year 2025 also saw the launch of the support program for logistics operators for the period 2025-2029, entitled “SME Supply Chain.”
This program launched by AMDL offers technical and financial support to companies in order to strengthen their competitiveness, support their digital transformation and improve the sustainability of their supply chains.
The meeting, which took place in the presence of, among others, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, was devoted to the presentation of the Agency’s achievements for the 2025 financial year, as well as to the review and approval of its action plan and budget for 2026.
