BPER reaffirms its strong commitment to supporting the growth and development of the Third Sector and Public Administration through the launch of BPER Civic Hub—a new, freely accessible digital space designed to promote knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and the exchange of best practices.

This platform is dedicated to fostering collaboration between public institutions and third-sector organizations, aligning with modern governance principles such as co-design, civic engagement, and the concept of shared administration.

The idea for BPER Civic Hub was conceived following an in-depth listening and consultation initiative conducted in autumn 2024, known as the Third Sector Listening Plan. This initiative, organized by BPER Bene Comune, involved a ten-stage journey across various regions of Italy to gather insights, identify critical needs, and better understand the challenges faced by Third Sector actors and public entities alike.

From this extensive listening process, several key themes emerged. Among the most prominent were the importance of building robust alliances and collaborative networks, rethinking and evolving the relationship with public institutions, and developing innovative skill sets to better respond to complex social issues. These themes laid the foundation for the creation of BPER Civic Hub.

BPER Civuc Hub will also host webinars

The platform will be continuously enriched over time with a wide range of educational and informational resources. These will include webinars, podcasts, white papers, and other multimedia content, all aimed at highlighting and amplifying successful models of social innovation that are emerging across Italy’s territories. The ultimate goal is to give visibility to transformative practices and inspire new forms of civic collaboration.

BPER Civic Hub is accessible via “Attiviamo Energie Positive”, a digital platform focused on social innovation, ethical finance, and fundraising. This platform was created by Produzioni dal Basso, an organization with which BPER has cultivated a long-standing and fruitful partnership. Together, they aim to provide practical tools and a supportive environment for communities seeking sustainable and impactful change.

Daniele Pedrazzi, Head of BPER Bene Comune, emphasized the bank’s vision in supporting both the Public Administration and the Third Sector. He stated:

“BPER Bene Comune, through its ongoing work with public entities and nonprofit organizations, is committed to fostering greater alignment and synergy in addressing the challenges and opportunities that shape the future of our local communities.”

Pedrazzi further added:

“The launch of BPER Civic Hub marks a pioneering step for a banking institution. Through this initiative, we actively participate in the national conversation on administrative and social innovation, driven by the conviction that we must play an active role in promoting the common good and contributing to the well-being of society as a whole.”
