The General Manager of the Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale (CNSS), Herman Y. Nacambo, proceeded, during the morning of Tuesday, November 7th, 2023, on the premises of his institution in Ouagadougou, to the installation of his new Secretary General, Dieudonné Kabore, who was appointed by ministerial decree on November 2nd, 2023. The event was attended by a number of friends and colleagues.
Dieudonné Kabore, the new General Secretary of the Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale (CNSS), replaces Laurentine Zida/Kinda, who retired on October 23rd, 2023. The new General Secretary, appointed by ministerial decree on November 2nd, 2023, is at home at CNSS. This is the company in which he took his first steps over 30 years ago, and which has seen him grow professionally.

Having joined CNSS in 1992, the former legal affairs attaché has held the positions of private secretary to the general manager, studies officer at the general secretariat, central services manager, and communications and quality manager, among others. In addition to CNSS, he has also held positions of responsibility in public services such as the Ministries of the Economy and Foreign Affairs.
In terms of honors, Mr. Kabore has been made a Knight of Burkinabe Merit.
After his installation, Dieudonné Kabore pledged to work for greater performance and dynamism and to meet the challenges ahead. He said he was counting on the help of all staff to make the CNSS, their common home, shine. In terms of challenges, according to the new Secretary General, the first is the implementation of the 2024-2033 strategic plan, which is CNSS’s compass, the digitization of all the institution’s services to meet customer needs, and the strengthening of social cohesion and solidarity between CNSS families.
