Could Digital Assets Week Be the SurancePlus 100x Launchpad?

With RWA tokenization set to hit hockey stick growth in early 2025, the Singapore Digital Assets Week, which just kicked off this morning, could be the most important event of this year. In particular, it’ll be worth keeping a close eye on SurancePlus (an Oxbridge Re subsidiary) and Zoniqx, with this event potentially serving as the launchpad for the first 100x opportunity we’ve seen in some time.

Could Digital Assets Week Be the SurancePlus 100x Launchpad?

Just this morning, what could be one of the most important finance events of the year kicked off.

That event is Digital Assets Week in Singapore. And, its happening at one of the most opportune moments in the entire digital assets movement.

It’s also going to be a very special moment for the event’s platinum sponsor, Zoniqx, and their partner SurancePlus, an Oxbridge Re [NASDAQ: OXBR] subsidiary.

In a moment, we’ll get to why Digital Assets Week could be such an important event, and why it’s a special moment for Zoniqx and SurancePlus.

But first, let’s take a look at the timing.

RWA Tokenization Could Hit Hockey Stick Growth in 2025

To illustrate why the Singapore Digital Assets Week is happening at such an important moment, we’re first going to introduce the concept of “hockey stick” growth.

Most of you should be familiar with this. But, for those who aren’t, hockey stick growth is something we often run across when companies and markets hit runaway growth.

If we plot revenue/market size/etc. on a chart, hockey stick growth often looks like… well… a hockey stick.

First things look flat.

Then the takeoff starts.

The take-off gets faster.

And then boom.

We’re off to the moon.

Here’s an illustration.

So, now we’re all on the same page, let’s take a look at another chart.

This chart (source) plots the total value of the Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization market.

See anything familiar here?

On the left, things look relatively flat.

As we move to the right, we start lifting off a little.

And finally, as we get to the far right, we find the beginnings of a moonward-bound trajectory in the making.

In short, we’re right on the verge of an RWA tokenization hockey stick emerging.

Now, in all honesty, RWA tokenization could take off right now and leave all of us in the dust. But, if you really want my opinion, I think early 2025 is a more realistic scenario.

Why’s that?

Well, unlike the first few times we saw all things “crypto” take off, RWA tokenization is being driven far more by big institutions.

Blackrock is committing $10 trillion to the space.

Goldman Sachs is majorly long on RWA tokenization, too.

And the same applies to plenty of other lesser-known, but equally as important institutional players like Oxbridge Re [NASDAQ: OXBR] and its RWA tokenization subsidiary SurancePlus.

So why does that mean we’re probably not going to see hockey stick growth in RWAs until early next year?

Simple.

Right now, we’re heading into that time of the year when institutions are starting to wind things down for the year.

But, when things kick back into gear come January, don’t be surprised to see another massive uptick in the total value of RWA tokenization.

There is serious money flowing into this space, and it’s only accelerating.

What Makes the Singapore Digital Assets Week So Important?

As for why Digital Assets Week is so important, that boils down to two basic points:

  1. Again, the timing, and;
  2. The people and institutions attending it.

Let’s start with point one — the timing.

In much the same way financial institutions are just about to start winding things down for the year, the same is happening with big conferences and industry events.

That makes the Singapore Digital Assets Week one of the last events until next year.

In fact, for all intents and purposes, Digital Assets Week is the last event of the year.

Now, of course, it isn’t the final event of the year. That would be the Global Blockchain Show in Dubai this December.

But, if we take a look at who’s actually attending and of these events, the Singapore Digital Assets Week is the last big event.

Just go take a look at the guest list — JP Morgan, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, and countless other major institutions are all sending representatives.

You’re not going to see a guest list like that for the rest of the year.

And just like that, we’re onto point two — the people and institutions attending.

Make no mistake here.

Digital Assets Week will be the event where key movers and shakers in RWA tokenization rub shoulders, discuss plans, and build the last links in the networks that will shape the first few months of next year.

In short, if you think there’s even a whiff of a chance that RWA tokenization is going to hit hockey stick growth in 2025, pay very close attention to who’s in attendance.

And none more so than Zoniqx and SurancePlus.

Here’s Why We’re Watching Zoniqx and SurancePlus at Digital Assets Week

It’s no secret that SurancePlus has remained severely undervalued for more than a few months by this stage. It was about five months ago that we first tipped SurancePlus’s parent company, Oxbridge Re [NASDAQ: OXBR], to be a genuine candidate to hit multibagger status.

It’s also no secret that Oxbridge is planning a major move — a so-called “strategic alternative” — to rectify the massive undervaluation of SurancePlus.

If this move lines up with the early 2025 takeoff of RWA tokenization (highly likely), then we’re honestly looking at an easy 100x appreciation in value.

Seriously.

100x is genuinely on the cards.

The full story is here if you want to know more.

Now, as for where Zoniqx comes into play here, just take a look at who they’re attending Digital Assets Week with.

If you missed the tweet at the start of the article, here it is again.

Of course, if you’ve been following this story for the last few months, this shouldn’t really be a surprise. SurancePlus and Zoniqx first announced a key partnership a few months ago.

And they haven’t exactly kept quiet about it since — Digital Assets Week isn’t the first time they’ve been spotted at a major event together.

Now, as for what this means insofar as the nitty gritty details are concerned, that’s unknown. Unfortunately, I’m not privy to the inner workings of either company.

But here’s what i do know.

  • RWA tokenization will likely hit hockey stick growth in early 2025.
  • When it does, SurancePlus (and thus, Oxbridge Re) will likely hit a 100x valuation.
  • Zoniqx will likely play a major role in whatever “strategic alternatives” Oxbridge pursues for SurancePlus (how else do you explain the professional love affair between the two companies?)
  • Chances are, other major players will be involved, too. (Zoniqx’s other partners include names like PwC and Ripple. And why are they attending so many events like Digital Assets Week together with SurancePlus?)

Long story short, watch this space. Something big is in the works.
