Who Are the Winners of Equity Crowdfunding Champions Challenge Promoted by Innexta and Smau

In just over two weeks, over 50 companies applied for an innovation challenge focused on combining business with technology and sustainability. Five companies were selected based on innovation, growth, and partnerships. These winners, including Safety Job – Sikuro and Regran, will receive growth support, national visibility, and participation in SMAU Milan in October 2024.

During the presentation event of the 9th Crowdinvesting Report by the Milan Polytechnic, Innexta and Smau announced the 5 companies that won the “Equity Crowdfunding Champions” challenge.

This is a “challenge” promoted by Innexta, a fintech company of the Italian Chambers of Commerce system that supports and accompanies companies in accessing credit, complementary finance and fintech, in collaboration with SMAU .

In just over two weeks, the equity crowdfunding challenge has collected over 50 applications from companies across the country, from different sectors but all characterized by a strong push towards innovation, combining business with technological elements and practices and with a particular focus on sustainability.

The 5 selected companies were chosen based on the criteria of product innovation, service offered, company growth and partnerships with qualified market players.

The winning companies will be guided on a path of support for growth through the expansion of their entrepreneurial network, offering them national visibility both through targeted communication actions, with articles and interviews dedicated to their company and their entrepreneurial idea, and through participation in SMAU Milan, scheduled for 29 and 30 October 2024.

Safety Job – Sikuro

Safety Job of Ranica (BG) has developed Sikuro, the first integrated suite composed of software and applications, which aims to help construction sites to manage the documentation deriving from the complicated regulations on safety in the workplace in a simple and fast way through digitalization. It is an innovative solution that uses technologies such as Cloud, IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

CEO Walter Lucini explains that “through the automation of processes related to document management, the system is able to automatically identify, classify and organize documents related to workplace safety and guarantee the presence of authorized personnel on the construction site. The tangible results are: the reduction of the administrative and management workload in favor of true safety, the increase in productivity and the clear reduction in the risk of human errors and possible resulting sanctions. With Sikuro, you can be safe.”

REGRAN

Regran is an innovative SME based in Ragusa that develops, designs, installs and manages photovoltaic and agrivoltaic systems, very active in the research and development of innovative technological solutions to improve the maintenance and efficiency of photovoltaic systems. One of the most relevant results of these R&D efforts is the creation of an advanced Machine Learning algorithm based on Support Vector Machine (SVM).

“This algorithm aims to optimize and automate the maintenance of photovoltaic systems , predicting potential problems and allowing preventive intervention to avoid malfunctions or reductions in efficiency” states Marco Anfuso, CEO of Regran.

Regran is very active in the development of a drive-through prototype for hydrogen production and in the development of Serra Archimede, a photovoltaic greenhouse, with a history of over ten years that today falls within the scope of innovative experimental agrivoltaics.

It is also developing a digital platform that will become a marketplace where finance and the various stakeholders of photovoltaics and agrivoltaics can meet, allowing them to transfer land or work in exchange for shares in the special purpose companies that will build the systems.

STARTUP GEEKS

Startup Geeks, a Benefit Company in Mantua, provides consulting and training courses on innovation and entrepreneurship , in order to support corporate competitiveness through the launch of new ideas, collaboration with startups, involvement of talents, communication of innovation and attraction of capital.
