In four months, 364,528 euros were raised (+83% compared to the previous year), which became 618,184 euros with the “doubling” of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fano. This is the surprising result that the 22 third sector entities (institutions and associations) that participated in the 2024 crowdfunding call promoted by the Fondazione Carifano in collaboration with the Rete del Dono and the Centro Servizi per il Volontariato managed to achieve.

Fondazione Carifano’s matching program

There were 31 applications, 21 of which reached the goal of collecting the set sums and received, as a prize, the doubling of the amount, up to a maximum of 15,000 euros, from the Fondazione Carifano. Yesterday morning, in the organization’s boardroom, President Giorgio Gragnola announced the results of the crowdfunding.

At the top of the list was the Vivere Sereni association from Colli al Metauro, which far exceeded the goal of 40,000 euros, collecting donations for 72,147 euros and obtaining the maximum contribution from the Fondazione Carifano (15,000 euros). “We will need the money – explained President Luciano Ordonselli – to build a wooden structure where we can organize educational workshops, including inclusion workshops.”

Among these is the laboratory ‘Vivere sereni in musica’ with the involvement of elderly artisans engaged in the recovery of used musical instruments and their use in music courses. “Crowdfunding is oxygen for associations – commented Ordonselli – because it gives visibility to our projects, allows us to understand the support of the communities and makes the culture of giving grow.”

Fondazione Carifano helps nonprofit organizations raise money

“An excellent idea – confirmed Claudio Orazi of La Lupus in Fabula who with the project ‘The forest for life…doubles’ has reached the record of 121 donations – we only hope that the presence of subjects who operate in the environmental sector will increase.”

“For 2024, the amount collected by the third sector – President Gragnola emphasized – has almost doubled compared to the 199,000 euros collected the previous year. We are increasingly convinced of the validity of the Fondazione Carifano’s matching program model and we are working to promote training and help associations keep up with evolving legislation.”

Finally, Gragnola recalled how important donors are for the Fondazione Carifano itself, which “in 2024 received 400,000 euros between land, sums of money and works of art.”
