MistWall Studio Launches Crowdfunding to Improve its 3D Map Editing Tool
A year ago, the company closed its first crowdfunding campaign to continue progressing with Chronos Builder with close to €170,000, a figure that quadrupled forecasts, and with more than 4,000 backers. “At the end of 2021 we launched the tool, we developed it throughout the year and now we are working on the second expansion,” explained Juanma Verno.
Creating a 3D map in a simple way that allows you to recreate mythical scenes from Star Wars, Blade Runner, or Dragons and Dungeons with high fidelity is the dream of all fans of role-playing games.
The startup MistWall Studio from the UMH Science Park focused on innovation in tabletop and role-playing games, has launched crowdfunding through the Kickstarter platform with which it intends to increase the competitiveness of its tool for creating and editing 3D maps Chronos Builder so that you can achieve the best quality and position yourself as the best in the market. The campaign will end on May 3 rd, a date on which it is expected to have exceeded the figure of €90,000.
The company, focused on offering a more immersive, interactive, and accessible phase to all audiences, continues with the development and innovation of Chronos Builder. This tool consists of a 3D map editing program that allows you to easily create science fiction, cyberpunk, or medieval fantasy scenarios with an exceptional appearance.
These maps can be played digitally, through the Virtual TableTop (VTT) platform, or cyber-physically, through the Dybo interactive platform. “Interestingly, there have also been people who have bought the program and have given it different uses for educational purposes or as inspiration when drawing comics,” said Juanma Verno, CEO of MistWall Studio.

Experience and credibility of MistWall Studio
A year ago, the company closed its first crowdfunding campaign to continue progressing with Chronos Builder with close to €170,000, a figure that quadrupled forecasts, and with more than 4,000 backers. “At the end of 2021 we launched the tool, we developed it throughout the year and now we are working on the second expansion,” explained Juanma Verno.
Currently, the company offers, through this second crowdfunding, the possibility of contributing to the project with or without a promise. Those who wish to join the project can do so without receiving anything in return or receiving early access to the tool they are financially supporting. “This time we have much more credibility having already delivered a product in the previous campaign,” highlighted the CEO of MistWall Studio.
MistWall Studio is a company promoted by entrepreneurs Juan Antonio Gambín, Juanma Verno, David Pérez, and Francisco José Sáez. The company arose after being one of the winning projects of the 9th UMH Marathon and was one of those selected to participate in the Acelera UMH program.
“They gave us useful tools, knowledge, and training that was very beneficial for our performance and the growth of MistWall Studio,” explained Juanma about the company’s passage through the Acelera UMH program. The company has also been recognized in different awards such as the Fundeun or Entrepreneurial Initiative awards, and has received financial support from entities such as IVACE.
