On the occasion of its 40th anniversary this year, the Freigerichter Ski Club wants to buy an original ski gondola and turn it into an event gondola for club events. To do that, the club has launched a crowdfunding campaign.

In the future, for example, the gondola will be used as a sales and information stand or as a VIP gondola at anniversary celebrations, Christmas markets, bachelorette parties, or similar events. The club wants to buy a disused ski gondola from the 80s. For this purpose, a crowdfunding project was started in cooperation with the VR Bank Main-Kinzig-Büdingen.

The gondola is to be equipped with a table and benches and offers space for up to 6 or 8 people

Curtains and seat cushions in the club colors as well as interior lighting should increase the coziness and create a special ambiance. A large club logo is to be placed outside. Depending on the type of event, tables, and benches should be able to be taken out so that the gondola can also be used as a sales or information stand.

“Our club gondola is intended to positively influence the external image of our club and to arouse interest in the club, especially among potential members of younger generations. Since the association does not have its own clubhouse, the gondola is also intended to act as a kind of “small club home” for members.

The crowdfunding campaign is open to everyone who would like to donate, not only to club members

“This crowdfunding is aimed at members and friends of the Freigerichter Ski Club as well as anyone who would like to support our club in the implementation of this extraordinary project. Help us to realize this project so that we can strengthen and improve our public perception and club identity with our club gondola. “

This will help the club attract potential new members and motivate younger generations to join the club.” A common project like this promotes association-internal cohesion and each advertising-effective appearance of our gondola is a Benefit for our association and the Freigericht,” communicated the ski club.

An originally used ski gondola costs approximately €2,500

In addition, there are the costs for collection and interior decoration: “We hope to be able to collect at least €1,900 for our project in this way. The remaining costs will be covered by the association’s funds. Even overfunding will fully benefit the project. “

“In this way, every additional euro can be invested in a higher-quality interior, such as solid wood furnishings or LED ambient lighting, and of course, every euro above the target amount relieves the burden on our club treasury,” concluded the presentation of the project.
