Choice can be a funny thing.

Sometimes, it’s what we think we want. I mean, who doesn’t want the luxury of having multiple options?

But often, choice can be a bad, debilitating thing. Ever had decision anxiety reading the menu at a restaurant?

And if you don’t believe me, just check out the literature on the subject. Heck, one academic paper even claims that “an increase in objective power, via increased autonomy and choice, results in decreased self-perceptions of power.”

Jeez. That’s some heavy stuff.

But hey, even if more choices aren’t always what’s best, sometimes they can be a good thing.

Let me show you why.

TopRanked.io Partner Program of the Week

ComeOn Connect is this week’s #1 addition to our affiliate marketing directory, and they’ve come to show us why choice is a good thing.

ComeOn Connect

But, before we get to the choice part, here’s why you should be really interested — commissions.

ComeOn Connect Commissions

ComeOn Connect offers up to 45% commission on casino referrals, and 40% on sportsbook. That’s pretty much the industry-leading rate right there.

Of course, you’re gonna have to generate €50k+ in monthly revenue for the top rates. But the lower-level commissions are nothing to be sneezed at, either.

ComeOn, Make Your Choice

Choice of Brands

What we love most about ComeOn Connect is that you can pretty much build an entire affiliate site around this one program. Just check out a sampling from the list of brands they have onboard:

  • Casinostugan
  • CherryCasino
  • Folkeriket
  • Galaksino
  • Get Lucky
  • Hajper
  • Lyllo Casino
  • Mobilautomaten
  • Mobilebet
  • Nopeampi
  • NorgesSpill
  • Pzbuk
  • Snabbare
  • SunMaker
  • SunnyPlayer

Now, as you can tell, there’s a pretty heavy Euro bent here. But, as this is the partner program that offers choice, there’s more than just EU markets on offer here — India, Canada, and Japan are just a few of the other main markets ComeOn Connect cater to.

Choice of Games

If you’re wondering about the variety of games you’re going to be able to recommend to your audience, why not take a moment to check out the long list of software providers behind these brands:

  • NetEnt
  • Microgaming
  • Quickspin
  • Play’N GO
  • Merkur
  • Betsoft
  • Thunderkick
  • Relax Gaming
  • NYX Interactive
  • Games OS
  • Playtech Casino

Yep. The choice is yours, and you’ve got plenty to choose from.

Again, the choice is yours.

Who’s Behind ComeOn Connect?

On the surface, ComeOn Connect isn’t quite the industry stalwart you’re probably used to seeing in our recommendations. The brand only appeared in the late twenty-teens.

But scratch the surface, and you’ll find two names behind it that have been around the block — Cherry and Earn Affiliates.

Basically, ComeOn Connect is the love child that was born when two great programs came together.

Top-Notch Affiliate Support

As always, top-notch affiliate support is a must before we recommend a program. And ComeOn Connect certainly delivers.

  • XML odds feed
  • Omarsys tracking and performance monitoring
  • Banners and other creative assets
  • A plethora of landing pages to help optimize your conversion rate
  • Useful content like ready-to-go mailers and reviews

Dead Simple Signup

Getting onboard with ComeOn Connect is dead simple, and they keep unnecessary hassles to a bare minimum.

So, to get the ball rolling, fill out the short signup form that’s available here.

News Takeaways

Did You Hear That the Metaverse Is Coming?

Apple’s first VR device is slated for release as early as next year. And Zuck’s doing everything he can to make metaverse happen.

Now, I don’t think anyone believes Zuckerberg’s god-awful digital wonderland is ever going to take off. Heck, his own minions don’t want to use it, even if it’s part of their job description.

But we do expect big things for VR once Apple hits the market. You do remember how everything from the iPhone to AirPods got kinda sorta popular, right?

Right.

History has a way of repeating itself.

Here’s the Actual News Item We Care About

With that segue out of the way, here’s the news item we care about: SB22 has recently announced VR22, “an industry-first Virtual Reality Betting Platform.”

Now, there’s nothing here for affiliates yet. For now, it’s just a platform that they’re opening up for white labeling. But you should expect a few sportsbooks to start dabbling in VR/entering the metaverse soon.

Now, of course, this isn’t quite the first time the worlds of sports betting and virtual reality have crossed paths. For the last couple of years, Entain, for one, has promised some sort of VR experience (however, that seems to have culminated in little more than a JockeyCam partnership).

But the VR22 platform seems to be the most complete imagining we’ve seen. Add in the fact that it’s more or less available off-the-shelf, and we should theoretically see an acceleration in VR sports betting.

Takeaway

It’s clear there’s some sort of momentum here. VR… metaverse… whatever you want to call it… new ways of doing things online are coming. And whether you like it or not, that means the way we reach the next generation of sports betters will change.

Yep, you heard that right. Just as a whole generation became literally inseparable from their smartphones, a whole new generation is going to become closely intertwined with something… metaversey.

Now, is there a bunch of opportunities for affiliates entering the metaverse right now? Maybe, maybe not — that’s for you to research.

But make no mistake, if there aren’t any right now, there will be soon.

Time to put your thinking caps on.

Closing Thought

The Boron Letters is a marketing classic, written by Gary Halbert from his cell in, yep, you guessed it, Boron Prison.

Now, I’m not here to suggest you should go and land yourself in prison. Nor am I about to suggest you take up direct mail marketing — while there are a handful of troopers still getting results, it is getting a little old hat now.

However, Halbert’s career was one of the greatest marketing successes stories ever. And marketing fundamentals apply across all types of marketing, whether that be “direct mail” or “digital” marketing. So there’s every chance you can apply a Halbert lesson to whatever you’re doing. You just have to adapt it.

Halbert on Personalization

Let’s take one straight from chapter 9 about the power of personalizing your message. But first, note the context: the entire book is a compilation of letters that Halbert wrote to his (at the time) 16-year-old son, Bond.

Now, personalization can come in all forms — it doesn’t have to be name and age. It only needs to be anything that resonates with someone.

For example, let’s try a headline.

“Exposed: Top Secret Method to Earn an Easy $10K per Month Working from Home.”

To quote Halbert, that’s “mildly interesting,” even if it does read like a Taboola feed.

But what if we “personalize” it?

“Learn How This Single Mother of 3 Kids Earns $10K per Month Working from Home.”

Now sure, which one is best is up for debate. The first has “power” words and promises to reveal the secrets to easy money. But you can also bet that number two is gonna get a whole lotta attention from any single mother, especially if she has three kids.

As for the lesson, well, here are just a few:

  • If you know your audience, personalize your message — it may work better.
  • AB test everything — the personalized message may not work better.
  • Marketing is marketing. Whether that be digital, direct mail, or even metaverse marketing, the fundamentals will always remain the same.

Since a young age, Dylan has had three great loves: sports, money, and the internet. Naturally, it was only a matter of time until he found ways to bring the three together, and by the age of 17, he'd already created his first four-figure online sports portal. These days that passion burns just as bright, and he continues to enjoy writing about sports and the internet marketing opportunities that go hand in hand with them.
