In this week’s affiliate digest, we have two big news items from Andrew Tate and Australia, along with the Codere partner program for Mexico. First, we’ll take a closer look at Codere’s program and tell you why we think it’s one of the best in breed for marketers chasing the Mexican geo. Then we’ll give you our take on the Andrew Tate fiasco and a couple of “shock” poll findings out of Australia.

As always, it’s been a busy week here at topranked.io and in the broader affiliate industry. And while we could go on for pages with all that’s transpired, your time is limited, and so is ours. So to catch you up, here are a few highlights.

Top Affiliate Program of the Week

Our raison d’être is to do nothing but sort the wheat from the chaff when it comes to partner programs. So you just know that when we bring you a fresh discovery, it’s gonna be a good one. And trust us, this week’s is a doozy.

Codere Mexico — A Leading Land- and Online-Based Gaming Operator

The latest addition to our affiliate marketing directory is Codere’s Mexican market program.

For the unfamiliar, Codere is a leading multinational iGaming and sports betting operator specializing in Spanish-speaking markets. This already puts them in poll position for anyone chasing the Mexican geo.

And for those who aren’t in Mexico, now’s a great time to stop and ask yourself why. According to the latest research, the gaming market over there’s headed straight into a forecast period with a 22.9% CAGR!

Interested? Thought so! Here’s what you need to know.

Codere Partner Program Details

Codere’s partner program is a pretty standard affair. Commissions are available on either a rev share, CPA, or hybrid CPA and rev share basis. And as usual, performance matters, so top-performing affiliates should expect to be in a position to negotiate better payouts.

But hey, you didn’t come here to be told that Codere is just like any other operator. And we wouldn’t have put them forward as a top pick if they were.

What we really liked about Codere (aside from its specialization in Spanish-speaking markets) is just how long this operator has been around (since 1980) and its significant physical presence in Mexico. This has a couple of enormous benefits for partners.

First, Codere is a brand with huge conversion power. Heck, a big swath of the Mexican population has probably already played in one of Codere’s physical gaming halls.

Why does this matter?

Ask yourself this: who’s link are they going to want to click on — the brand they know and trust (Codere), or some fly-by-night operator they’ve never heard of? You know our answer, what’s yours?

And speaking of fly-by-night operators, who you gonna trust to pay out your hard-earned commissions when they’re due? Again, you know our answer.

Weekly News Takeaways

What’s up Down Under?

In the wake of the Australian Communications and Media Authority’s (ACMA) latest blocking crusade, the imaginatively named The Australia Institute has released the results of its latest advertising poll.

A couple of key results:

  • 7 in 10 Australians want gambling ads banned.
  • 5 in 10 want alcohol ads banned.

The big takeaway here is that what people say and what they do are two different things. Aussies are known to drink like fish (or worse, drink from fish… true story), so just because they told some pollster over the phone that they don’t want to see drinking ads, doesn’t mean they’re gonna stop drinking.

The same logic applies to the first stat quoted above.

Andrew Tate’s “Final Message”

First came the social media bans on platforms like Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook. Then came the collapse of his Hustler’s University program. Now, Andrew “Cobra” Tate has spoken his “final” words in an hour-plus video posted to one of the only platforms yet to ban him — Vimeo.

Whether this video really is the final word or not, only time will tell. But if there is one thing to take home with you, it’s that if you’re prepared to stand out from the crowd and can ooze confidence while doing so, people will buy whatever you’re selling. After all, how else did a D-grade reality TV celeb sell millions of dollars worth of mediocre educational content any noob could have found with a simple Google search?

Closing Words

To close out the week, let’s finish with a quote from Tate’s late father, Emory Tate (yeah, we stole it from 1:12:23 in the video above).

Now, for those of you who don’t know, Emory was a formidable chess player. So much so that Maurice Ashley (first black FIDE Grandmaster) called him an “absolute trailblazer” of a player. So while these words might not have made him very rich, they would have if there was any money in chess — he was amongst the best of the best.

“My unmatched perspicacity, coupled with sheer indefectibility, makes me a feared opponent in any realm of human endeavor.”

Emory Tate

Or, in plain English — use your brain, strive for perfection, resist defeat, and you’ll do well in whatever you set your mind to.
