SIX brings stock data to the blockchain using Chainlink

Stock exchange operator SIX has announced that it will make Swiss and Spanish stock market data available via Chainlink’s blockchain infrastructure . This data can be accessed through Chainlink’s “DataLink” service by more than 2,600 applications across over 75 blockchains. The data is provided in a standardized format, enabling the integration of market data into smart contract applications.

Specifically, data on shares listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and the BME Exchange with a combined market capitalization of over €2 trillion will be made available. This distribution of market data via a blockchain-based financial infrastructure expands the possibilities for new applications in the field of digital assets, including tokenized indices and structured products.

“This creates the basis for compliant DeFi deployments and prediction markets,” according to the SIX statement.

DMG Blockchain Stock: Is the Bitcoin mining model strong enough for long-term success?

DMG Blockchain Solutions Inc. relies on an efficient Bitcoin mining model and an AI infrastructure that demonstrates potential in volatile markets. The company offers investors in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland access to crypto growth without requiring a direct coin investment .

DMG’s core business is based on Bitcoin’s Proof-of-Work mechanism, with the company mining blocks and receiving rewards in BTC. The use of renewable energy in Canada, where electricity costs are often below $0.04 per kWh, makes the model scalable and more environmentally friendly than its competitors.

“In the long term, DMG is aiming for a hashrate of over 10 EH/s, which underlines the growth potential,” the analysts said.

Visa becomes a validator in the Tempo network and expands its blockchain engagement

Visa has announced the launch of a validator node on the Tempo blockchain network. This is in partnership with Zodia Custody, a crypto custodian majority-owned by Standard Chartered. Visa will participate as an anchor validator in transaction validation on Tempo, a Layer 1 blockchain designed for autonomous commerce and real-time payments.

“We have spent years building our expertise in blockchain and are now expanding that work by operating critical blockchain infrastructure ourselves,” explained Cuy Sheffield, Head of Crypto at Visa. The validator node was configured and is managed internally after a six-month collaboration with Tempo’s engineering team.

“By operating a validator on Tempo, we are transferring Visa’s commitment to reliability, security and trust to blockchain networks,” Sheffield added.
