With the campaign on Re-Anima, Libertas SNEF has raised €30,500 to build a padel center at the Lambrone Sports Center in Erba that, in the promoters’ intentions, will be able to meet the growing demand for padel courts in the target area. Re-Anima is an equity crowdfunding platform dedicated to Real Estate. What is special about it is that the collection campaigns proposed on the platform are selected exclusively if they correspond to the social, environmental, economic, and institutional sustainability criteria stipulated by “The New Urban Agenda – Habitat III” and preferentially addressed to third sector social enterprises.

The “New Urban Agenda,” adopted by the UN in 2016, represents a shared vision on urbanization that, if well planned and well managed, can be a powerful tool for sustainable development for both developing and developed countries.

The platform was founded in 2018 by Edmondo Jonghi Lavarini, a serial entrepreneur, with eight other partners, and was authorized by Consob in 2020 with the support of the law firm Campagnoli e Calvi.

Libertas’ campaign

Re-Anima has just concluded its first equity crowdfunding campaign promoted by Libertas Sport Nuoto e Fitness – Società Sportiva dilettantistica S.r.l, a social enterprise active in the field of organizing and managing sports activities.

The company, established in 2008, is involved in the educational management of swimming, tennis and padel courses as well as the management of the Swimming Pool of the Union of Municipalities of Valmalenco. Since 2017, following the dismissal of Legislative Decree 112/2017 and the consequent amendments to the Consolidated Law on Finance, the legislature has provided the possibility for social enterprises to use equity crowdfunding as well and, therefore, to benefit from a new item of financing through the opening of share capital.

With the campaign on Re-Anima, Libertas SNEF has raised €30,500 to build a padel center at the Lambrone Sports Center in Erba that, in the promoters’ intentions, will be able to meet the growing demand for padel courts in the target area.

“Equity crowdfunding will undoubtedly be able to constitute a valid alternative, from below, to bank credit and public financing for many social enterprises active in the organization and management of sports and other activities, especially in a particularly delicate and changing economic context such as the current one which, with regard to grassroots sports activities, only aggravates an already particularly difficult situation,” so commented Angelo Gnerre, administrator of Libertas Snef.
