Fintech Company Satispay Launched in Nice
For individuals, Satispay simplifies daily life by grouping all their financial transactions in one place, avoiding the need to juggle between different applications and platforms. Recently, users in the Nice area have also been able to benefit from a “cashback” operation, enabling them to recover up to €30 during the week. This amount is credited directly to the user’s account.
Italian leader in mobile payment, fintech company Satispay has landed in the Nice Côte d’Azur metropolis, with the ambition of reaching 2,500 affiliated Nice merchants by the end of 2023.
Founded in 2013 in Cuneo, Italy near the Metropole, by two childhood friends, Alberto Dalmasso, Dario Brignone, joined by Samuele Pinta, the startup aims to simplify transactions for small everyday purchases, without the need for cash or credit cards.

Independence from credit and debit card networks
Its application stands out for its independence from traditional credit and debit card networks, with no intermediaries involved. Thanks to a direct IBAN-to-IBAN connection that offers a high level of security (advanced encryption) for every transaction carried out, all the usual intermediation is eliminated, while a secure payment network is created. The security of personal data is also assured, as the company has obtained an e-money institution license for these activities.
After conquering 75% of the Italian mobile payment market and making initial inroads into Europe (Luxembourg in particular), Satispay has begun rolling out its services in France, covering the entire Côte d’Azur between Menton and Nice. To date, 600 merchants in Nice and 200 between Nice and Menton already offer the payment solution.
Cashback” (credit paid back to users) at stake
For individuals, Satispay simplifies daily life by grouping all their financial transactions in one place, avoiding the need to juggle between different applications and platforms. Recently, users in the Nice area have also been able to benefit from a “cashback” operation (credit given back to users), enabling them to recover up to €30 during the week. This amount is credited directly to the user’s account.
For retailers, the application becomes a partner in managing their day-to-day finances, enabling them to accept and offer fast, efficient dematerialized payment at lower cost, with no monthly fees or subscriptions. The transparent business model for payment conditions is presented as more advantageous for merchants: transactions of less than €10 are free of charge. Above €10, a fixed commission of 20 centimes is applied, regardless of the transaction amount.
The dedicated Satispay Business application can be downloaded to a cell phone, tablet or computer.
