The project, with an environmental license granted through Resolution 981 of June 8th, 2021, requested the modification of the license, which includes changes in the infrastructure to develop construction and operation works of the Solar Park, the evacuation line and connection bay, contemplating the addition and reduction of areas with respect to the initial license.

Likewise, it will allow an increase in the demand, use, and exploitation of natural resources associated with the occupation of watercourses and forest exploitation.

Additionally, it contemplates the adjustment of the definitive area of influence of the abiotic environment, which consequently adjusts the area of influence of the socioeconomic environment, established in Resolution 981 of June 8, 2021.

The Guayepo Solar Park joins the list of projects that will be part of the fair and responsible energy transformation, where there are already 42 licenses between wind farms, solar farms, and transmission lines, which have complied with the rigor and the necessary studies for such purposes. It is important to highlight that, of the licensed projects, 13 have obtained environmental licenses since August 2022 (7 wind farms, 5 transmission lines, and 1 substation).

It should be clarified, that both the generation capacity of the Guayepo Solar Park and the transmission for the connection line to the Sabanalarga Substation, remain in accordance with the provisions of the environmental license granted in Resolution 981 of June 8, 2021, i.e., 400 MW and 500 kV, respectively.

Finally, among the obligations imposed on the project for compensation, it must compensate an additional 206.99 hectares with preservation and restoration actions, focusing on the rehabilitation of natural ecosystems.

These compensations will be located inside the Guayepo Solar Park on non-intervention areas where there are gallery and fragmented forest ecosystems and in areas of the DRMI Palmar del Tití.
