Ricky Martin becomes newest resident headliner in Las Vegas
One of the most fascinating and passionate artist and multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Ricky Martin will start his headlining residency at the new Park Theater at Monte Carlo in Las Vegas on April 5, 2017, it was announced by Live Nation and MGM Resorts International.
Martin appeared at the announcement on Nov. 16 at Monte Carlo with Live Nation Las Vegas President Kurt Melien and Rick Arpin, senior vice president of entertainment for MGM Resorts International.
Martin’s unique show, promoted by Live Nation and MGM Resorts International, will be hosted by the legendary director Jamie King, who has directed over two dozen tours for superstars including Madonna, Celine Dion, Britney Spears and Rihanna and most recently wrote and directed the Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay. King previously directed Ricky Martin’s 2007 Black and White Tour and 1999 Livin’ La Vida Loca Tour. Martin’s repertoire includes his greatest and current hits and multiple costume changes, which promises great entertainment.
Ricky Martin has performed on all seven continent and has gained a reputation for his energy-pumped and sensational performances. Millions of people have been fascinated by his live performances.
“It’s gonna be an hour and thirty, forty minutes of intense adrenaline and lots of quality, musically and visually speaking”, promised Ricky Martin in the press-conference. He also said that they will offer a mixture of Las Vegas history and what actually presents his music. Ricky also confirmed that everyone will enjoy the show, regardless of their age or cultural background.
