The Isen brass band wanted to generate at least 15,000 euros for their project using the VR-Bank Erding crowdfunding platform, but they exceeded this goal and received a 3,000-euro grant from the bank.

Isen – Bernhard Stangl, chairman of the Isen Brass Band and project manager of the crowdfunding project “Boid dahoam – New Music Center for the Isen Brass Band” is very satisfied with the result.

“With the donations collected and the €3,000 grant from VR-Bank Erding, we will be able to begin construction of our music center this spring,” explained Chairman Stangl with a beaming smile. “We are very pleased that our new home is within reach.” At least €15,000 must be raised with the help of the cooperative bank’s crowdfunding platform “Many Create More” to make this dream a reality.

The brass band even exceeded its project goal, raising the impressive sum of €20,352. This sum was symbolically presented to the association on February 25, 2025. A total of €17,352 was raised for the project account by 25 supporters.

In addition, the Isen brass band association received another 3,000 euros in co-funding from VR-Bank Erding eG.

The VR Bank management warmly congratulates the Isen Brass Band on the amount raised and is delighted to have paved the way to a great success for the second time with the “Many Achieve More” platform. The brass band already conducted a project on the platform in 2017, raising over €15,000.

VR-Bank Erding provides its crowdfunding platform free of charge to non-profit associations and institutions in its business area. Since 2016, 38 projects have already raised more than €472,500 in support payments. For all of these projects, the bank has so far provided more than €74,000 in co-funding to the institutions.

The exciting thing about a crowdfunding project is the fact that many people achieve more and all successful projects are additionally supported with 20 percent co-funding from VR-Bank Erding eG.
