Dubai is becoming the launchpad for the international expansion of Italian company New Time, which aims to reach at least €200 million in revenue by 2027, doubling the €100 million it achieved in 2024.

The Forlì-based company, active in the outdoor living sector and specializing in panoramic windows, pergolas, and cutting-edge innovative energy solutions, has announced the establishment of New Time Green Solar Energy LLC in the United Arab Emirates , a 51% subsidiary with local partners holding the remaining 49%. The new company will be responsible for promoting integrated photovoltaic solutions in the Middle East, an area considered strategic for its growth path.

The operation was the focus of the inauguration of the new, expanded headquarters of New Time in Forlì

The event was also attended by Emirati delegations and major Dubai developers, interested in bringing Italian solutions to construction projects already in the pipeline. “The world needs our products. Forlì remains the manufacturing and technological hub, while Dubai is the springboard for global growth that begins in the Emirates and extends throughout the Middle East and Europe,” explained Paolo Cimatti , sole director and 100% owner of New Time.

Among the new developments were the architectural integration of photovoltaics and Europe’s role in renewable manufacturing. Transparent photovoltaic glass for curtain or ventilated facades, also designed for skyscrapers, walkable flooring, and integrated roofing were presented as solutions capable of transforming buildings into energy-generating elements.

“We can’t think of photovoltaics as an external addition: it must become an integral part of the building, the city, and the landscape. This is a cultural revolution before a technological one, and it requires expertise, research, and a paradigm shift in the construction industry,” the entrepreneur added.

Cimatti also mentioned the Net-Zero Industry Act, which aims to bring a significant share of renewable industrial production back to Europe. With this in mind, New Time maintains its roots in Italy, with three production facilities and a headquarters in Forlì, now over 5,000 square meters, while also looking to Spain, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East.

New Time closed 2024 with revenues of €92 million, an EBITDA of €26.7 million, and net liquidity of nearly €11 million. The company has 250 employees and has already reached €115 million in revenue.

At the beginning of the month, New Time announced that it will build the first European hub for HJT photovoltaic modules in Emilia Romagna , with a production capacity of up to 1 GW/year , thanks to a strategic partnership with the Chinese company Huasun , a manufacturer of heterojunction (HJT) cells and building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) technologies , with which it signed a letter of intent last June in China.
