Bicycles – a growing transport method in Spain

The EMEB indicates that there are nearly 30 million bicycles in Spain, a growing means of transport that has also become a passion for many users. The most enthusiastic people do not hesitate to carry out the maintenance of their bikes themselves, but often lack the necessary knowledge to do so professionally and safely.

To help them repair and maintain their bikes in perfect condition, the Bicycle Mechanics School (EMEB) has launched a crowdfunding campaign. The objective of this campaign is the publication of the first Bicycle Mechanics Manual in Spanish, developed by professional mechanics, with the financial support of its future readers.

Crowdfunding campaign collaboration

Users who collaborate with the campaign, or “patrons”, will receive a complete step-by-step manual to learn how to repair and maintain their bikes like a true professional. The book, with a very didactic and visual concept, will guide the user through the main aspects of bicycle mechanics such as maintenance of hubs, bottom bracket boxes, cranks, assembly and adjustment of gears, brake bleeding, wheel centering, etc.

The simple structure of the agenda will allow you to quickly locate each topic and resolve any doubts that you might have. The manual will be bound with a metal spiral so that it can be easily consulted during repairs or maintenance operations and will have plastic covers to prevent stains. The first sponsors will be the most benefited.

EMEB will become the Bicycle Mechanics Manual publisher

The Bicycle Mechanics Manual will be published by EMEB, the first school in Spain specializing in bicycle mechanics. The center offers training not only for professionals but  amateurs involved in the world of cycling to cover all participants. They also have experience in the revision of books and manuals of the sector and have edited some of their own manuals that they use in their training courses.

As Victor Fernàndez, founder and CEO of EMEB, explained, “we want to offer all bicycle lovers the opportunity to collaborate in the creation of the best bicycle mechanics manual ever published in our country and learn everything they have always wanted to know how to maintain and repair them. Those who join the campaign will be the first to have this book that all bicycle fans will want, in addition to enjoying extra benefits and other advantages. Registration for the crowdfunding campaign is also a great gift for this Christmas.”

The first users to join the crowdfunding campaign will have a benefit over others. In addition, depending on their initial contribution, they will be able to enjoy other advantages, such as a free course in mechanics at the EMEB school. All collaboration options and details about the campaign are available on the website.
