Happy Airways Starts a Crowdfunding to Launch New Flights from Strasbourg

A new airline company wants to land at Strasbourg airport. Happy Airways could offer 14 destinations throughout Europe at attractive prices. A fundraising campaign is currently underway to make the project a reality.

Get ready to fly with a new company from Strasbourg. The airline Happy Airways wants to set up shop at Entzheim airport. 14 destinations will be offered at low prices to passengers. The company’s aim is to “make Strasbourg a central place in Europe”. Go to London or even Prague for only €59.99 a ticket. Attractive prices and a service that will not be neglected. At its launch, Happy Airaways will have two aircraft, ATR 72-600 with 78 passengers per flight. A catering service will be offered free of charge.

“Equipped with a turboprop instead of a turbojet, the aircraft has a 45% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions,” according to the Happy Airways company’s press release.

For its launch, Happy Airways will create about 50 new jobs in the region. The goal is to offer more than 4,400 annual flights from the Alsatian capital, which represents 343,200 seats.
