The Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the Xgimi Titan Noir projector is attracting worldwide attention. The series of three models, each with a relatively high native contrast ratio, began its crowdfunding campaign in late April 2026. As the campaign has now reached its funding goal, all backers will receive a free gift.
Xgimi’s Titan Noir series projectors are proving very popular on Kickstarter
The crowdfunding campaign, launched on April 23rd, has attracted over 3,300 backers, raising more than $10,000,000 in pledges in its first week.
This means the Xgimi Titan Noir Kickstarter campaign has surpassed its $100,000 funding goal, though it was likely designed to be an easily achievable target. Upon reaching the $10,000,000 mark, all backers will receive two pairs of Xgimi active shutter 3D glasses. There appear to be two further stretch goals, $15,000,000 and $20,000,000, though it’s unclear what rewards might be unlocked if these milestones are reached.
There are three models: the Xgimi Titan Noir, the Titan Noir Pro, and the Titan Noir Max
Highlights of the Xgimi Titan Noir include the brand’s dual intelligent iris system, which is said to be a world first. This allows the model to offer a native contrast ratio of up to 10,000:1. The top-of-the-range Titan Noir Max delivers up to 7,000 lumens of brightness thanks to its triple RGB laser light source. Each model has a throw ratio of 0.98–2.0:1, with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced, and Filmmaker Mode. Additionally, there are built-in speakers with Harman Kardon sound, and gaming features such as 1ms input lag, VRR, ALLM, and AMD FreeSync Premium.
At the time of writing, the Xgimi Titan Noir is still available with a special launch offer. This gives backers the model for $2,499, about 38% off the $3,999 RRP. Similarly, the Xgimi Titan Noir Pro and Titan Noir Max are also available with a special launch offer. The Pro is offered at $2,699 and the Max at $2,999, approximately 50% off the $4,999 and $5,999 RRPs, respectively.
The company ships worldwide, and the crowdfunding campaign will run until June 9th, 2026. Deliveries of the Xgimi Titan are currently estimated to begin in June 2026. As with any crowdfunding campaign, there is a risk that the product may not be delivered on time, or not at all. However, given the company’s track record, this risk is somewhat mitigated.
